Fandom: Zeta Gundam
Character: Four

This is Four from Zeta Gundam. A bit of a history lesson: Zeta Gundam was the second of the UC Gundam series (starting from Gundam RX-0078 to Gundam RX-0080). Zeta is due out for a brand spanking new movie soon, so I'm excited about that. Anyway, she is an artificial Newtype (or to the Gundam Seed fans -_- --an artificial "coordinate") and the love of Camille X3 I love the way she looks...

The green thing she's throwing is a chibi green Haro, and the plushies around her are Haman (on her knee), Char (on the bed), and Camille (in her arm).

But, I heard that there was going to be a Zeta Gundam cosplay group at Otakon, so I drew this to be sold... nemissa help pimped it out, but it ended up not selling, so Nemissa adopted her. XD; Thank you so much X3

Aw, you gotta love those plushies and the haro! Those things are so cool. I myself have gotten more into gundam lately. Also, a recent issue of NewType magazine talked alot about gundam seed, so I now I understand alittle bit more on the the whole coordinaters and naturals thing.

The NewType mag was really spawned off of the Gundam name of that group of people. They're basically a group of genetically enhanced (sorta) people who have some psychic ability as well as stronger, faster athletic ability and higher IQ, etc. If you followed Gundam Wing, Heero Yuy was a NewType.

Naturals are basically just normal humans.

Ahem. While Coordinators are basically Seed's version of Newtypes in concept, they are a little different. Newtypes can occur naturally or artificially, while Coordinators are just the result of genetic engineering (or at least as far as I've seen). The specifics of Newtypes were kept pretty vague (which was a good idea, IMO). But it is known that they have significantly faster reflexes, stronger brain waves, sometimes display empathic abilities, and on rare occasions psychic mind-meld-like moments (though somehow I want to disregard some things from ZZ :/).

REALLY? Man, that's what people told me. -_-; That he was a NewType, or at least NewTypes showed up in every Gundam there was. I guess after the UC parts, they kinda went away?

Either way, I've never seen Seed, but I've heard that Coordinates -were- indeed different from NewTypes--wasn't sure in what way, though, but thanks for clearing that up XD

Newtypes are only in the UC timeline, and in Gundam X (though I haven't seen enough of that one to know if they're any different ^^;). Though the other series often have things similar to Newtypes (like how almost every Gundam has a Char clone ;P)

Ooh yeah, I wanna draw Kamille XDDD I don't think I've done a good picture of him yet.

Geez, -_- you think they would keep it the same name or something, but I guess if they're different, then the oldschool people would get kinda cranky about it.

Yes, there is ALWAYS a Char clone (scary).

I drew him with a really round butt for you once and now I'm actually sorry for doing that XD;;;;;
